1. What data do we collect?

The Near One app is operated by LAFLAX Sportmanagement GmbH ('LAFLAX'). We store basic profile information (user name, email, first name, role, optionally phone number, optionally place/region without street address), family relationships and friendships, invitations to the family circle, appointments, pinboard and memory posts (including photos and short messages), medication plans, family chat messages, TV polls, game points and matches, device push tokens for notifications and – if you switch on the extra login protection – an encrypted authenticator secret and hashed backup codes (never the codes in plain text).

2. How do we use your data?

The data is used only to connect you safely with family and accepted friends: shared appointments, memories, medicines, chat, TV night and games. There is no profiling for advertising. Push notices contain no message content, only a short note about the sender.

3. Storage and security

Family chat messages are stored encrypted and kept for at most 24 months, then deleted automatically. The TV night chat is not stored permanently. When you delete your account, the related data is removed.

4. Reporting content

You can report inappropriate messages in the app with a long press. Our team checks every report; reported content can be hidden.

5. Your rights (FADP / GDPR)

You have the right to access, delete, and port your data. In the Near One app settings, you can request a copy of your data or permanently delete your profile at any time.
